‘On Time’ is an audiovisual work about Chicago portrayed from the train. In other words, it deals with the relationship between the infrastructure and the city, in a context where the train becomes an iconographic element in the urban landscape. The time slots defined by the train come as a result of the city morphology, in which time becomes further relevant than distance. Therefore, a quantifiable parameter such as time informs nearly in detail about social, economical and even cultural stratum, throughout aesthetic experience gained from texture, density and speed.
