Fold is a library located on top of a hill in Ciutat Meridiana, Barcelona; where a system of folded floors adapts itself to this particular topography and organizes its use and circulation.

The storeys are conceived as folded or crumpled sheets of paper ordered in three levels; thus, the access can be from both the higher and the lower levels, while it can be crossed as a stretch of the park’s paths.

The reading and studying spaces are transparent and those to support appear as closed boxes in coloured glass. The vertical communications are a result of the fold of these storeys, so that they become in contact like a melting lasagne!
